How Much Will A Social Security Disability Attorney Charge Me?

Social Security Fees

The first thing to keep in mind is that we do not charge a fee until you are approved. Our fee is twenty-five percent (25%) of the back award of benefits owed to you, or $6,000, whichever is less. For example, if your back award is $10,000, our fee would be $2500. On the flip side, let’s say your back award is $30,000, although 25% of that is $7500, our office iscapped at $6,000. So our office we receive $6000, not $7500.

Also, it’s important to note that we only earn a fee on your back award. We do not take a fee on your monthly checks. For example, if you begin receiving monthly benefits, that’s not part of your back award, we do not take a fee. So let’s say you receive an approval letter in January 2021, and in that approval letter it states your back award is $10,000 and your monthly benefit amount from that point forward is $1500, our fee will only be 25% of the $10,000 back award. We do not earn a fee off of your $1500 monthly benefit.
